Hello!
My name is Iouri, and I am a second-language English teacher from Israel. My teaching journey began immediately after I returned from America, where I studied Business Management and completed an Intensive English Program at Indiana University.
Upon my return to Israel, I started teaching English privately. Eventually, I established my own English school, where I taught and served as a curriculum coordinator. Over the years, I developed effective teaching methods and wrote English textbooks that received positive feedback from my students and their parents.
Currently, I teach online in groups and dedicate most of my time to writing English textbooks.
My Story
When my daughter was around four years old, I decided to teach her how to read in English. However, engaging her in the learning process proved to be challenging. The textbooks I purchased lacked the necessary appeal and did not keep her attention. Therefore, I decided to write my own.
My approach worked not only for my daughter but also for my students. As a second-language English teacher, I tested my creation on some of my students, and their response was overwhelmingly positive. They declared that my books were the only ones they wanted to see in class.
Realizing the positive impact my writing had on my students, I decided to create more textbooks and materials to share with them and others. I hope my books will continue to inspire and engage learners of all ages and backgrounds to develop their English language skills. Above all, I hope my books will help encourage a love for reading and learning that will last a lifetime. In today's digital age, I believe cultivating a preference for books over gadgets is more important than ever. I hope my books can play a small role in achieving this goal.
